Smite enters open beta

SMITE officially launched into open beta and kicked off the event by announcing a $100k tournament with details to follow. Todd Harris, Hi-Rez Studios Chief Operating Officer also revealed that the closed beta has had over 900k players participating. Now that SMITE is in open beta, no further character wipes are planned while players characters rolling straight into the launch. There is still no official release date.
