SWTOR Update 1.7: Galactic Reputation

Bioware is adding Galactic Reputation to Star Wars: The Old Republic allowing players to unlock rewards by performing tasks for organization. The reputation system is tied to your Legacy account, not your actual character account, so you only need to complete the reputation grind on one character and all of them will gain the benefits.
