World of Tanks is a team-based online action-MMO dedicated to armored warfare. Set in World War II, players command authentic tanks from the era as they battle to the death across various maps and game modes. Starting out with a release in Russia on August 12, 2010, World of Tanks has since established a massive worldwide fanbase with the game successfully releasing in European, North American and Asian markets. Today developer of the title, Wargaming.net, announced that they have exceeded 18 million players.
