Spiral Knights get Pokemon style pets: Battle Sprites

If you were wondering what was missing from Spiral Knights and came to the conclusion it was Pokemon style pets then you'd be right as Sega announced today that Battle Sprites will soon be added to the game. Battle Sprites are basically companion pets that follow you around to protect you or to provide you character with additional abilities. The pets will also level up and evolve opening up even more new abilities.
