When it comes to World of Warcraft, Blizzard is not having a good year. They just announced a loss of another 300,000 players in the last quarter and the launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic is getting closer. Does this spell the end of WoW? Hell no!

SWTOR is no WoW killer and if anything people will see how much work SWTOR needs and how much it is lacking, especially in the UI area, and if they left WoW, they'll be heading back until BioWare fixes all of SWTOR's major problems.

And you know of these problems because you've played it right?? Probably not! I have played it at SDCC and it is a great game is it a wow killer no , will it take some of WoW's subs yes! Because people are sick and tired of WoW all they do is rewash content and put it out. I mean come on Firelands they add one new mechanic to Ragnoros and make him a boss again. But with all of your SWTOR is gonna fail talk, I mean at launch of WoW they had 200,000 subs and 40 servers they had to add 40 more servers in the first week to accommodate players, SWTOR already has over a 1,000,000 subs 200,000 at origin and rest spread through retailers all over the world so time will tell and BW has taken a new approach to the mmo genre and it is so FUN.

WOW will not go down overnight. I believe its all about what SWTOR will do once it is out that will determine if it is gonna topple WOW. Heard many play it at e3 and comic-con and many loved it, so i believe its gameplay will be solid enough when it comes out to keep subs.

Some posters in mmoraid need to realize that not everyone wants that WoW experience with every dame they play. The UI is pretty good, actually. And that comes from someone with 78 addons between all my toons in WoW, specifically so I could adjust how my entire UI looks.

No single game will get credit for causing the death of WoW, except for WoW itself. In what.....9 months I think....they have lost a number of subs that many other games would love to have as their entire loyal player base.
