Diablo 3 isn't the only game having auction house woes as this past weekend has seen a major exploit in Neverwinter that has completely crippled the game's economy and possibly the entire game.

The exploit involved negative numbers in the auction house where players would received that amount of Astral Diamond back. So if you bid -50,000,000 you would get 50 million in Astral Diamond instantly. As with Diablo 3 as soon as players learned this trillions upon trillions of AD was created out of thin air. What's more is that players then began buying up all the Zen, currency purchased with real money, so they could then buy all the items in the Zen store, many of which are boosts.

The result was zero Zen left for anyone to exchange and auction house prices skyrocketing. Items once sold for a few thousand AD were now selling for tens of millions. Players were also able to level cap their characters as well as all professions within a few hours if they purchased enough "complete crafting instantly" items.

Crafting in Neverwinter is time based, so if you're doing high level crafting it could take 24 hrs to complete one item. However if you buy a "finish instantly" item that 24 hrs become 1 second so you can see how it would become extremely easy to max out all your professions within an hour or two. Crafting also provides character XP so players can also level-cap their characters doing the same thing.

Players have been demanding server roll backs, refunds for all Zen purchased and many more stating they will be quitting the game.

Perfect World Entertainment has replied with the following

We are also still investigating the severity of the issue and its impact on the game, and from this information we will take corrective action. Estimated downtime is at least two more hours. This is a relatively new technique to power-level your character in World of Warcraft through pet battles in an insanely short amount of time. Below you can watch the video guide of how this works, but below are outlines steps as well.

First you'll have to meet this requirements:
- 2 bnet accounts - you'll need a friend
- each account needs a level 25 pet
- each account needs a second pet between level 5-15 of the same level (example: two level 8s, one on each account)

How to powerlevel using pet battles:
1 - Queue up for a pet battle
2 - Because both of you have the same two level pets, 25 and 8 in the above example, you will be matched up almost every time.
3 - Select your 25 pet on the account you want the XP on, then have your friend forfeit the battle

EA announced early this week it was not developing any games for the Wii U and soon after that a software engineer in the EA Sports' Canada studio Tweeted that the console was "crap".

That developer is Bob Summerwill a senior software engineer who Tweeted the following,

"The Wii U is crap. Less powerful than an Xbox 360. Poor online/store. Weird tablet. Nintendo are walking dead at this point."

When EA was asked to comment on this they wrote back,

"EA has a strong partnership and an active agreement with Nintendo to develop games for the WiiU. Last year we released Mass Effect 3 and several of our EA Sports titles on that platform. In their latest review Destructoid takes a looks at DUST 514 the new MMOFPS from CCP that takes place in the same virtual world as Eve Online. While it seems the combat is on par with other online FPSers, limited game modes and heavy reliance on the games microtransaction system that "border on offensive" severely hurt the game. It seems that DUST 514 has a decent base to grow on, but still needs a few major updates before this game it become worth playing. IGN is reporting that Trion has cut at least half of its staff, possibly 80%, in their San Diego studio which was the team behind Defiance. However another source told IGN that the layoffs were company wide, not just in the SD studio.

This is the second round of layoffs for Trion within six months with RIFT developers being let go last December.

Arenanet announced today that there will be no more content updates for Guild Wars and that the game will rely on automated updates to maintain it's Tournaments, in-game events, and birthday prizes. Darkfall Unholy Wars is the relaunch or version 2.0 of the original Darkfall that launched just last month and today MMORPG.com has published their review of the game giving it a score of 7.6 out of 10.

It looks like there's lots to like about Darkfall Unholy Wars ranging from the combat system to communications amongst player to an innovative progression system not to mention a great PvP system. Where the game falls short is a difficult learning curve, cheaters and an engine that just doesn't seem polished enough.
